Gedanste echo’s van Mahlers Vijfde symfonie

Emanuel Gat laat zich voor zijn nieuwe danscreatie leiden door de Vijfde symfonie van Mahler. Een confrontatie met de dood en een stormachtige liefde sturen de grote emoties en contrasten in de muziekpartituur aan. Twaalf dansers verbeelden Mahlers emotionele landschap in vijf choreografische taferelen. Cinq jours au soleil laveert tussen duisternis en licht, wanhoop en vreugde, spanning en ontspanning.
