From deep melancholy to volcanic energy

In Último Helecho, French multi-talent François Chaignaud and Argentinian singer-composer Nadia Larcher form a dance duo, for which they share the stage with six musicians from the folk and Baroque repertoires. Their exploration of Argentinian folklore reveals identity issues on both sides of the Atlantic. This collaboration is founded on folk dance and on music genres such as the zamba, chacarera and cueca – the fruits of the complex shared history of South America and Europe.
