Tempestuous solo by Belgian dance talent

Anger is a dual force: on the one hand destructive, on the other a catalyst for change. In her solo Tempest, Lisbeth Gruwez draws on martial arts to transform raw energy into focused power. In doing so, she oscillates between control and letting go, between resistance and flow. Tempest explores how one can welcome a storm instead of resisting it. It is a dance in the eye of the storm, or better said, it is a dance that opens an eye in the storm: a single, gleaming point.
