Exploratory investigation of two bodies
What happens when you dance with a body that acts and reacts completely differently to your own body? When a body that has been disciplined by years of ballet training moves together with a body that is dealing with the symptoms of cerebral palsy: impaired and involuntary movements, weakness, spasms…? This duet – with live music by Pak Yan Lau – does not emphasise differences. It is not set up as a clash between opposites; it seeks to observe and offer alternatives.
