Successful conference on anaesthesia at the Concertgebouw

On Saturday 18 October, the Belgian Association for Regional Anaesthesia, or BARA for short, organised its annual conference at the Concertgebouw.

An engaging programme for 200 participants

The association had put together an engaging full-day programme for the 200 participating doctors and nurses, featuring lectures and panel discussions by leading speakers from the field, as well as hands-on workshops where participants could learn about and test new methods in practice.

Between the various sessions, they were able to further deepen their knowledge in the Foyer Parterre, at a dozen information stands or in conversation with each other, while enjoying healthy food and drinks provided by caterer Deldycke.

Chamber Music Hall and Forum 6 as the setting

The schedule proved to be very effective, as the association soon set a date for the next annual meeting, with the same convenient combination of the Chamber Music Hall and Forum 6 for all parallel sessions. Experienced partner Aventix ensured that everything ran smoothly in the halls from a technical point of view. The overall organisation of the conference was in the hands of True Events.

'Although BARA has extensive experience in organising various meetings, nowhere else is the support as professional as in Bruges. From the warm welcome on arrival to the perfectly catered lunch and coffee breaks in the Foyer, and from the high-quality audiovisual support in the Chamber Music Hall to the meticulous practical follow-up: everything is perfect down to the last detail. Thanks to this flawless organisation, BARA is completely taken care of, leaving plenty of time and space for valuable interaction with our members.

- Dr. Matthias Desmet, Chairman of BARA
