Live Symposium of Heart Centre Bruges is first Covid Safe Congress in Concert Hall

How many times the Brugge-Oostende Heart Centre, part of AZ Sint-Jan, organised its Cardiology Symposium in the Concertgebouw Brugge ... we don't keep track. What we do know for sure: this congress on Saturday 11 September marked the first congress for the Concertgebouw that could take place with the new Covid Safe Ticket. All attendees obeyed the rules and presented their Covid Safe Ticket or negative PCR test of no more than 24 hours old before entering the Concertgebouw.

"The innovative reference care for which the Brugge-Oostende Heart Centre stands was beautifully portrayed during the live symposium on 11 September. The enthusiastic reactions of the participants motivate us to continue along the chosen path."

— Rene Tavernier, Head of Department of Cardiology, AZ Sint Jan Brugge-Oostende

In the Concert Hall, MediAVentures was responsible for the technology and a live connection between the Concert Hall and the operating rooms of the AZ Sint-Jan. Thanks to the latest technologies, the almost 300 attendees were able to follow the operations in the finest detail.

Traiteur Cardinal provided coffee breaks and lunch afterwards. With the introduction of the Covid Safe Ticket, this too could be done straight and without distance rules.
