A performance about gender clichés
Pink for Girls & Blue for Boys explores what it means to be a boy or a girl. Is pink just for girls and blue just for boys? Can girls cry, but not boys? Can boys climb trees, but girls can't? Where do the distinctions between the sexes begin and when do they start to exclude? How much courage does it take to stand up for your own ideas and needs? This playful piece with (gender) roles, props, costumes, words and bodies invites us to choose what we like best, what suits us, and not what others think we should choose.
