Refined dance-expression to exciting jazz
For her latest creation, Dance in Bruges Maker Femke Gyselinck renews her family ties with her musician brother Lander Gyselinck. They once created a duet together in which they reversed roles: Femke as drummer and Lander as dancer. This time they invite seven dancers and four musicians onto the stage, each of whom determines the rhythm of their own discipline. Lander excels at rhythm, Femke at lyricism. Together they coalesce in a form of structured improvisation.
