fri 12.02.10 - The Huelgas Ensemble and BL!NDMAN [sax] explore 15th and 16th century music based on improvised contrapunto. Creative polyphony of composers such as Lassus, Desprez and De Rore is effortlessly coupled with 20th and 21st century chance music. more info

The Concertgebouw opts for music, musical theatre and dance because of its specific acoustic and technical assets. Each of these disciplines has one Flemish company as its figurehead. Anima Eterna Bruges remains our orchestra in residence and has established its offices in Ezelpoort in Bruges. Muziektheater Transparant and Rosas are given full backing as preferred partners.
