Central European landscapes on historical instruments
Star pianist Alexander Melnikov and resident orchestra Anima Eterna present masterpieces that coloured the musical landscape of Central Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries. The melodies of Dvořák’s Cypresses evoke dreams of verdant forests. Janáček and Bartók dazzle with a rainbow of rhythms and harmonic daring. Kaprálová’s radiant Partita will undoubtedly be the discovery of the evening.
