What the Body Does Not Remember, Wim Vandekeybus’s 1987 debut, won a prestigious Bessie Award in New York for its ‘brutal confrontation between dance and music’. Following a first revival in 2013, this groundbreaking work now returns once more, forty years after its world premiere. For the occasion, the choreography will be accompanied live by the celebrated Ensemble Intercontemporain and expanded with an additional scene set to new music by Thierry De Mey.
Soundcast, the Concertgebouw’s youth group, has selected seven fantastic performances that young people can attend for just 7 euros. This performance is one of those 7 unmissable shows.
