Tuimelaar is a musical ode to gravity: rolling, tumbling, toppling over and righting oneself again. The music of Taiwanese percussionist Yung-Tuan Ku guides the very youngest listeners on a journey of discovery through a gentle, safe environment. Together with a clarinettist and a trumpeter, she takes you to places you’ve never been before. Tuimelaar is both intimate and open: you’re welcome to come and tumble about for a moment, or simply stay and sway and doze for a good half hour.
