A gaze into the infinite imagination of the cosmos

Since Copernicus we have realised that our sun is a star among many. We have learned that those stars differ greatly from each other and that many, like our own, are surrounded by planetary systems. The reality is thus far more diverse than we ever suspected. In an accessible way, an astronomer gives us an insight into our star system and planetary system and sets us thinking about our place in the bigger picture. After that, we’re bound to listen to Gustav Holst’s The Planets a little differently.
