Tom De Moor sits down with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker to discuss the book Wanneer ze danst (When she dances). For two years, the French journalist and writer Laure Adler was able to ask choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker anything she wanted. Furthermore, throughout that time she was granted access to the archives and was allowed to observe the rehearsal process for various productions. De Keersmaeker tells her where she comes from, how and why she works, and how this work challenges her and brings her joy. An in-depth and candid reflection by one of the most important choreographers of the past century on her working methods and her philosophy.
