Birthday Happening

Contemporary dance, older repertoire, new music and sound art; regular concerts and participatory activities; the concert hall as you know it or something completely different; artists in residence and guest creators. Over the past 25 years, the Concertgebouw has been mixing these ingredients into a flavour all its own. This happening is therefore like a refined à la carte feast, where both the seasoned Concertgebouw fan and the curious explorer can sample the best that the Concertgebouw has to offer on a surprising journey through every corner of the building. We’ll round off our 25-hour marathon with a proper fandago, where you can show off your best moves and give your all musically too!
