New solo work by frontwoman of Vula Viel
With her celebrated band Vula Viel, composer, percussionist, producer and instrument maker Bex Burch straddles the divergent worlds of minimalism, post punk, and improvisation. To expand her sonic palette, Bex spent three years in Ghana with master xylophonist Thomas Segura. She now combines percussion and synth rhythms into what she refers to as 'messy minimalism'.
