Get lost in a Concertgebouw Maker’s maze of sound
Percussionist Tom De Cock is surrounded by a landscape of round percussion instruments. With minimal movements, he manipulates the timbre of suspended frame drums and cymbals, each of which is powered by its own tiny electronic device. Polyrhythmic clouds, percussive eruptions and electronically transformed percussion clusters remind us of the works of the great master: Iannis Xenakis.
