Virtuoso conversation between dancer and violinist

Brand-new Dance in Bruges Maker French choreographer Guilhem Chatir rethinks his solo Vertiges and tailors it to our Chamber Music Hall. We see a human figure in a desolate landscape, a body surrendering to an endless fall: lightness and heaviness and tension and relaxation alternate. The sombre tones of Bach’s Partita No. 2 and the persistent motif of his Chaconne heighten the tension of the constant repetition.
