Maker Guilhem Chatir

Guilhem Chatir (1993) comes from Toulouse. He first came into contact with dance through hip hop and circus and then expanded his dance repertoire at the Paris Conservatory and at P.A.R.T.S. He has been a guest dancer in projects by Wim Vandekeybus and Akram Khan. Since 2021, Chatir has been developing his own work, which radiates strength and commitment. In his first season as a Maker, he won over our Chamber Music Hall with Vertiges, a particularly beautiful solo set to music by Bach. In his latest creation, a trio in the Magdalena Hall entitled Ni Ni Ya Mo Mo, he seeks to connect with his Moroccan roots.
