Guilhem Chatir (1993) is from Toulouse and first encountered dance through hip-hop and circus. He subsequently expanded his dance practice at the Paris Conservatoire and at P.A.R.T.S. As a dancer, he has appeared in works by, among others, Wim Vandekeybus and Akram Khan. He also develops his own projects. Last season, for instance, he was a guest performer with a particularly powerful solo set to Bach, and in Ni Ni Ya Mo Mo he drew on his Moroccan roots. In the 2026/27 season, he is creating a site-specific installation for five dancers especially for the Concertgebouw’s 25th anniversary. Furthermore, KAAP invites him on a First Date during AMOK and he is preparing his first major group piece, which will have its world premiere during December Dance 27.
