The human voice is the oldest and many would say most beautiful musical instrument. How it sounds has evolved over time. In this course, musicologist Mark Delaere presents new forms of vocal expression in the classical music of this and the last century. That fits in perfectly with the mission of American vocal ensemble Roomful of Teeth: to reinvent the expressive potential of the human voice.
