In search of a new form of collectivity

Le Phare – CCN du Havre Normandie are no newcomers to Bruges. Time and time again they have managed to enthral audiences here with their swirling dance that brings together East and West. After Näss – a creation for seven men – choreographer Fouad Boussouf now sets to work with eleven women. He continues his exploration of collectivity and community on stage, but this time draws on a feminine energy. Alone yet always together, the dancers lose themselves in a physical and earthly dance that burns and exhausts and then always builds to a fresh momentum.
