Vaal is a Coldwave/Kraut/ambient trio, formed by members of the Ghent-based noise and postpunk bands Maze and Movoco. Their electronic sound compilations create a sultry, grim and extraordinary atmosphere, as if Angelo Badalamenti would have written his Twin Peaks soundtrack reminiscing about the Flemish ribbon development.
