Bach’s ageless chorales as meditative mantras
Two giants of the Norwegian jazz scene – both affiliated with the prestigious ECM label – sculpt unique musical spaces of inner peace, lyrical beauty and great expressiveness from chorales that also inspired Bach. Expect impressionism, Persian modes, Egyptian playing traditions, Norwegian folk dances and gospel… as well as 'pure' Bach.
