After their performance Murmuring Muses and Whispering Jinn, Belgian lutenist Sofie Vanden Eynde and Iraqi oud player Saad Mahmood Jawad reveal the secrets of their exceptional collaboration. It turns out that they weren’t just enjoying each other's artistry. Even more than that, they wanted to learn from each other. In their months of preparation, they therefore experimented to the max to discover what happens when western music visits the east… and vice versa.
