Virtuoso voice artist inspired by Beethoven & Basquiat

Swedish-Ethiopian Sofia Jernberg manoeuvers effortlessly from classical to avant-garde to jazz. She likes to experiment and to test and break through boundaries. That is also the guiding principle of Eroica I, a visual work artist Jean-Michel Basquiat created as an explosive response to Beethoven's Third. Especially for the Bruges audience, Jernberg will demonstrate how the three continents in which she grew up coloured her as a person and as a voice artist.
