Annelien Van Wauwe visits Brahms

The sound of legendary clarinettist Richard Mühlfeld persuaded Brahms to start composing again, after he had resolved to lay down his pen. It was for Mühlfeld that Brahms wrote his last works, his two clarinet sonatas. Together with musicologist Jan Christiaens, Julien Libeer examines their friendship, the basis of these exceptional works.
