Victor Guaita (1989) approaches music as a living process of exploration and interaction, in which the boundaries between interpretation, improvisation and composition blur. His work balances deep musical tradition with contemporary sound experiments, and reflects on time, memory and repetition. In collaboration with performers and composers, he creates experiences that are both introspective and dynamic, in which sound functions as a rhythmic dialogue between past and present. He will do so during the Beat it! Happening alongside the Japanese master Seijiro Murayama and in May in one of the installations at the Bruges Triennial. Two moments of exceptional artistic intensity!
