Tenor saxophonist James Brandon Lewis grew up in the gospel tradition and knows how to mix that influence with elements from post-bop and hip hop. Those who have heard him at work never forget his fiery style. For Jazz Brugge, he is supplementing his regular trio with guitarist Anthony Pirog.
