Bach's musical handbook

Settled in Leipzig, Bach managed to acquire a copy of Florilegium Portense, a collection of the most beautiful polyphonic motets then circulating in Germany. Ignace Bossuyt and Vox Luminis let us hear how Bach incorporated this music into his own works.

Huisartiest Vox Luminis

Het vocaal ensemble Vox Luminis groeide sinds 2004 uit tot een van dé oude-muziekensembles van nu. Intussen zijn ze vaste gast op alle belangrijke podia van Europa, Azië en de Verenigde Staten en sinds seizoen 2017 - 2018 ook huisartiest van het Concertgebouw. ‘Het werd tijd voor een echte thuis’, zegt artistiek leider Lionel Meunier. ‘Samen met het Concertgebouw-team kunnen we over artistieke dromen praten en plannen uitdenken.’
