Anyone who has attended in recent years will confirm it: this is a veritable feast of classical music. Iedereen Klassiek bathes everyone and everything in joyful classical music. Together with initiator Klara and many Bruges-based partners, the Concertgebouw is putting together a lavish celebration, with offshoots all over the inner city.

As always, we warm up with Crazy about Bach and close with the wonderful Brussels Philharmonic performing some well-known classics. Invite your family and friends to this free event, so that they too can discover the power and beauty of Bach, Beethoven and Bruges.

Music from outer space

With his 2001 film: A Space Odyssey, Stanley Kubrick took the science fiction genre to unprecedented heights. The genius of this cult film lies partly in its legendary soundtrack, with music by Johann and Richard Strauss, Aram Khachaturian and György Ligeti. The music of the iconic Star Wars films is also universally known. It is impossible not to imagine oneself in higher spheres when the Brussels Philharmonic plays this music from the cosmos live.
