Welcome aboard. With the music of Luc Brewaeys we will definitely be flying high. This internationally acclaimed composer is known for his adventurousness, virtuosity, pronounced sense of lyricism, effervescence and unprecedented timbres. Fuelling his beloved orchestra with countless notes, he accelerates the music to cruising speed in next to no time. Brewaeys believed that music should be felt. Preferably live. Please fasten your seat belts. We’re ready for take-off.
Luc Brewaeys died ten years ago, but his music lives on. Fasten Seat Belts! is a Luc Brewaeys Foundation initiative, in which numerous partners from the Belgian classical music scene join forces to ensure a whole season in which the music of Luc Brewaeys will once again soar.
