December Dance 2024

The 17th edition of December Dance is gearing up for the arrival of the host of dancers and choreographers who will once again transform Bruges into the hotspot of contemporary dance. Belgian dance makers are joined by major international names: Emanuel Gat, Taoufiq Izeddiou, Damien Jalet, Jan Martens, Anna Franziska Jäger & Nathan Ooms… We select makers with a critical but generous vision of the world and the future. In their performances they create new worldviews, give a voice to neglected groups and weigh the value of tradition against the need for change. December Dance is a blank space in which ideas, concerns and utopias can be tested and shared. Look forward to work that inspires, engages, touches, moves and… wakes you up.
