Platel’s predilection for music under the microscope

In this Open University musicologist Francis Maes analyses the relationship between Alain Platel’s dance theatre and classical composers such as Bach, Mozart, Wagner and Verdi. How do physical, visual and auditive elements influence each other? Which music stimulates Platel’s imagination? Francis Maes approaches these questions from a musicological point of view.
