Inaugural concert for the Graf piano introducing the builders
Experience the inauguration of the brand-new replica of Beethoven’s Conrad Graf piano, a masterpiece of craftsmanship by Piano’s Maene created as part of an exciting research project led by Tom Beghin, in collaboration with the Orpheus Instituut, KU Leuven and Beethoven‑Haus Bonn. Beethoven’s last piano comes to life once more tonight in work by Schubert and Beethoven himself, in dialogue with an earlier replica of Beethoven’s English Broadwood piano by the duo Maene-Beghin.
