An unstoppable stream of images and music
Minimalist composer Steve Reich and visual artist Gerhard Richter – both legends of contemporary culture – joined forces for a major collaboration. Working together with filmmaker Corinna Belz, they harmonised the pixels of Richter’s Patterns with Reich’s rhythms and pulses in an almost mathematical match. In this concert master percussionist Colin Currie steals the show in what is guaranteed to be an exceptional event. Expect a hypnotic and disorienting spectacle, in which image and music merge into an all-embracing experience.
