Visually stunning dance to a classical masterpiece

The story of the two-family feud that makes Romeo and Juliet’s love impossible is etched in our collective memory. Spanish choreographer Marcos Morau sets this timeless tragedy in a dark world of violence and destruction. For the music, he is led by Sergey Prokofiev’s score, in which the young lovers’ sensual lyricism is constantly agitated by an ominous undertone.
