Greetings from Moldavia

You are probably familiar with Smetana's The Moldau, in which the folk song I saw Cecilia Coming resonates. But Smetana's patriotism extends far beyond Prague's Vyšegrad Castle to the mythical Mount Blaník and all the other highlights of his Fatherland (Má Vlast). In the talented hands of Václav Luks and enhanced by Anima Eterna's period instruments, Smetana's 19th-century Bohemia sounds like new. Cecilia will sing out like never before!
