Season’s Thinker Fleur Pierets

Fleur Pierets is an award-winning Belgian artist, writer and speaker. In 2017, she and her wife Julian P. Boom launched 22-The Project. For this piece of performance art, the couple planned to get married in every country in which same-sex marriage was legal. Following her wife's untimely death in 2018, after only four marriages, Fleur turned to writing and released her debut, a memoir entitled Julian. As an LGBTQ+ activist, Fleur talks at consulates and embassies all over the world about the power of inclusion and building bridges. Her keynote in this is an invitation to engage in a dialogue about responsibility and about how we can bring about change in the world through positive communication and art.
