In Re:Beat, rhythm takes centre stage in a vibrant encounter between dance and music, between cultures and styles. A flamenco dancer with a past in Andalusia, a stepping dancer with African-American roots and an electronic musician create rhythm from movement, sound and silence. They sweep young and old along in a delightful jam session where rhythms collide, merge and shift. You’re welcome to join in, or just sit back and watch – though there’s a good chance your feet will have other ideas.
