Une énergie débridée dans un répertoire enflammé
Le Youth Orchestra Flanders célèbre les jeunes prodiges à travers un programme incandescent. Brewaeys n’avait que 26 ans lorsqu’il composa ..., e poi c’era..., sa toute première symphonie. À 27 ans, Stravinsky signait son magistral Oiseau de feu. Chostakovitch, quant à lui, entama son premier concerto pour violon en 1947, à l’intention de son ami David Oistrakh. Il venait de franchir la quarantaine, mais restera toujours un jeune rebelle dans l’âme.
