Joseph Haydn's marriage is a disaster; his wife doesn’t like music. But his concerts and travels guarantee him ample female interest. In Vienna he enters into a platonic relationship with Maria Anna von Genzinger. And in London, where he is welcomed as an international star in 1791, he meets Rebecca Schroeter. Via the compositions Haydn dedicated to these two ladies, Giovanni Antonini and Lilit Davtyan paint a brilliant portrait of Haydn's muses.
