Together, the 21 small carillon bells on the Concertgebouw roof terrace comprise almost two chromatic scales. They were cast in 1969, to replace some bells in the Bruges belfry, but were themselves replaced in 2010 by historically more authentic copies. The bells - which differ in size - are arranged so that visitors can play them.
