A guided tour of 1.5 hours leaves every half an hour (max. 25 people)
NU Architectuuratelier and Kab. have created an original visitors’ trail through the Concertgebouw’s intriguing architecture. This ‘Concertgebouw Circuit’ is a surprise-filled journey of discovery. An almost invisible path carries you through our impressive collection of contemporary art and sound installations. A Concertgebouw-shaped sound model lets you listen to our everyday activities and gives you an overview of the building’s unique architecture. As you follow the trail at your own pace, you’re sure to admire that architecture, with its renowned acoustics. And then, as the icing on the cake, you finally arrive at our wonderful roof terrace with its impressive view of the historic inner city.
On Architecture Day you can follow our visitors’ trail for free! Moreover, to mark this special occasion, you’ll be given extra background info by the architects and we’ll organise a grand Lego-building corner for the children.
