Seventeen dancers set society in motion
With a group of 17 dancers between the ages of 16 and 69, Jan Martens has a wealth of options at his disposal. He utilises them cleverly and ambitiously. The combination of solos and large geometric group dances exudes unexpected power; at times, it almost literally pulls the audience out of their seats. This is not just an incredibly exciting dance performance with an exuberant finale, it is a truly exceptional piece, rarely have we seen such an inclusive ensemble.
