De muziek van maestro Ennio Morricone vraagt om een magistrale orkestratie én een groot koor. De muziek op spectaculaire wijze tot leven laten komen, dat was de uitdaging voor artistiek leider Walter Proost. Hij werkte opnieuw samen met arrangeur Roberto Molinelli en het resultaat is verbluffend! 160 artiesten op het podium, een samenwerking met niet enkel het Arenbergkoor maar ook het koor La Chantanne uit Waver. Die laatsten spelen op 18 juni een thuismatch in La Sucrerie, maar gaan ook mee op tournee naar Nederland!
Op het programma staan alle grote successen van maestro Morricone. Ze staan in ons geheugen gegrift en roepen beelden op van de meest indrukwekkende films zoals Once upon a Time in the West, The Mission, Cinema Paradiso en The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
De internationale topsopraan Elise Caluwaerts als soliste maakt het spektakel compleet. Kippenvel gegarandeerd!
