The singing dances of the high North
New Early Music ensemble Brú take their name from a mythological land of milk and honey, where nature is constantly in bloom. Charismatic violist Krishna Nagaraja and mezzo-soprano Luciana Mancini combine the swinging élan of folk music with the sound world of period instruments. An enchanting repertoire, inhabited by trolls, kings and bold heroes, set against a backdrop of Nordic fjords and forests.
