In Nutcrusher, Sung-Im Her’s personal observations land her squarely among the trending topics. #metoo and #timesup started in the West and fanned out all over the world. The impact in South Korea, Sung-Im Her’s home country, was considerable. She questions the objectification of women. Through persistent techno and repetitive gestures, she and her female dancers move towards a genderless universe.
